Machine sew basic patches and re-sew
Replace suspension lines

Clean and operate a sewing machine
Install a simple patch
Re-sew containers
Manufacture simple components
Score at least 80%, corrected to 100% on the written open book test.

The Rigger A1 program adds to your skills in two ways; packing the tandem reserve learning how to preform sewing repairs using a sewing machine.
Tandem Packing
A detailed section in the theory of tandem skydiving.
Components and functions of the tandem system.
How to pack the tandem reserve and 10 packs required for certification.
Repairs and Sewing
The first stage of this training will focus on safe and controlled use of the sewing machine.
